Reeling with Infatuation

Oscillating currents toss me wildly—rough, rocky—leaving my head reeling with infatuation.

Oh, moon and sun, I’m earth bound.

Your gravitational pull causes the tide to swell washing me ashore covered with the moistness of your warmth and tenderness.

Ashore with clear senses, your love is my towel—drying the saltiness from my attitudinal crevices.

Hmmm, I’m beached.

One of the loveliest and most inspirational watercolors I have ever seen! I find it refreshing that you used such bold, crisp colors to achieve a contrast to that wimpiness that plagues many watercolors. There's also such a wonderful texture in the crisp edges that contrast the smooth delicacy in the gradations. I think my favorite moments are the nose, blush, and lips of the first figure as well as blue eye of the bottom.

The only complaint I personally have is the composition. I personally feel the top girl's hair drips too long, but that's just me. Great job!

This watercolour painting is simply excellent! I love your choice of colors. I love your composition, and especially how you cropped this image makes it so alive. It looks so phenomenal! For me it has a vibe of street art, and I could imagine to see this painting not only at a piece of paper, but also at a huge wall. It´s so pretty! But I have to say I am wondering a little bit about your title: "I love you, I hate you". You make me think these two characters have a love/hate relationship where the one thing they definately have in common is lust. Why I say that? Just a feeling. But overall I love this! Great job, and continue painting!
